Google Testing New Design For Web-Based Gmail

Google Testing New Design For Web-Based Gmail

According to a report from Geek.com, Google has invited a select number of users to test a new version of their webmail client, Gmail. The test version of Gmail may never be released, but the new design looks like a simplified mobile app which has been stretched out.

Just like on Android, you should be able to tell Google to let you know about a date in the future or to respond to a certain email.

The redesign shown above matches the test layout revealed last month for Android. The test version includes some new features like snoozing an email and setting it to return to the top of your inbox at a later date in time. Stars have also been replaced with pins, and you can set it so that pinned emails always stay at the top of your inbox.
