Google Makes the New Google Maps the Default for Everyone

After a year in preview, Google has finally made its new Google Maps webpage to all of its users as the default option. The new version of Maps is now on par with the old version, in terms of gaining all the original features, plus an abundance of new features.

Jonah Jones, lead designer of the Google Maps' team, said that over the last few months the team has been focusing on speed improvements, reducing clutter, and bring plenty of new features for users to enjoy.

Google first announced the new version of Maps last year at Google I/O, and users had the option of switching between the two versions.
