The Wall Street Journal reports that Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside is leaving the company to join Dropbox as their Chief Operations Officer. It is unclear what would be driving Woodside to leave his role as CEO of Motorola.
Executive departures are not very common after major acquisitions, but this report comes mere days after Google announced it was selling Motorola Mobility to Lenovo for $2.91 billion.
Update: Woodside has confirmed he will be leaving Motorola for a position at Dropbox.
