Twitter is Testing a Major Redesign, Looks Strikingly Similar to Facebook

Social media giant, Twitter, is testing a major redesign of its site, which makes it look a lot like Facebook and Google Plus. Matt Petronzio, editor at Mashable, spotted a huge update to his Twitter profile page on Tuesday.

The update scales your bio to the left and gives significantly more room to the header photo. Under the header photo there is now a more spread out count of tweets, photos/videos (a new category), who you are following, followers, favourites, and lists.

Tweets are much larger than before bring a Google Plus-like box view of your tweets. Other profile pages viewed by someone with an account with the new design will be updated to automatically appear like this too.

The news comes just days after Twitter released its latest design to all users, after weeks of testing.
