In its annual 10-K filing with the Security Exchange Commission, Google said that it closed the acquisition of Nest on February 7.
The $3.2 billion cash deal bring the talents of the Nest team, including Apple’s former iPod head, Tony Fadell, into Google. Fadell will be reporting directly to Larry Page, CEO of Google. The acquisition of Nest came around the same time Google announced a deal to sell of Motorola Mobility to Lenovo.
